Join us this winter for our “Loon Zoom” presentations series!

A different presentation will be offered the second Thursday of each month (November-April) for you to learn more about loons across the country & across the world!

On Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 pm EST, Wayne Lynch will be presenting “Loons of the World.” This talk will be based on his experiences as a wildlife photographer encountering loons across the Arctic.

Dr. Wayne Lynch is a self-proclaimed critter junkie and has been a full time professional nature and wildlife photographer for 30 years.  His photo credits include hundreds of magazine covers, thousands of calendar shots, and tens of thousands of image published in over 60 countries.  As well, he is the author and photographer of 50 acclaimed natural history books for children, adults and young adults.  His highly acclaimed books include: Loons - Treasured Symbols of the North, Owls of the United States and Canada – A Complete Guide to their Biology and Behavior, Wildlife of the Canadian Rockies, and Planet Arctic, a 30-year retrospective.
